Martin Stadtfeld has established himself as one of the leading interpreters of Johann Sebastian Bach's music over the last 12 years, winning the first prize at the Leipzig Bach Competition in 2002. Two years later, his debut CD with Bach’s Goldberg Variations, released by Sony Classical, made it to the top of the classical charts.
