An exhibition opened on November 28 at Suzhou Silk Museum to showcase over 80 cultural relics including bronze mirrors, combs lacquer wares and silk products from Jingzhou in Hubei Province during the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC), the Warring States Period (475-221 BC) and Han Dynasty (220 BC-AD 202). Many of the exhibits are second-grade national cultural relics. Jinzhou, also called Jianglin in the past, was the capital of Chu State during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. The city with a history of 2,600 years is the birthplace of Chu Culture and the center of the Three Kingdoms (AD 220-280) culture. The exhibition will run through February 28.
