Dec 6, 2017|By Tong Wangyue

A new amusement park featuring film stories will open to the public in the Suzhou Industrial Park next year.

The Huayi Brothers Film Studios and Resorts will cover 390,000 square meters of space and the construction will cost about 2 billion yuan (US$302 million) in total.

The park will be divided into five theme areas to reproduce the scenes of Huayi Brothers Media Corporation’s film productions including Tai Chi series, Detective Dee series, Assembly and If You are the One.

It will highlight architectures, landscapes, performances and entertainment facilities of different historical backgrounds in films from the Tang Dynasty (618-901 AD) to the Republic of China Period (1912-1949), covering 1,300 years of the country’s history.
