Suzhou to build a science and technology museum on the former site of an amusement park

The Suzhou Science & Technology Museum is planned to be built on the former site of Suzhou Amusement Land, which was located at the foot of Lion Mountain and next to Shishan Lake. Designed by Global architecture firm Perkins+Will, the museum with terraced landscapes and flowing design will include a 55,742-square-meter industrial exhibition hall, where exhibits will highlight Suzhou’s commercial history and the future of innovation.
