Aug 10, 2018|By Tong Wangyue

Qiantu K50, China's first all-electric sports car, entered the market yesterday. Price of the car, including clean-energy-car subsidies, will start at 686,800 yuan (US$100,453). Completely made in Suzhou, the K50 will sprint to 62 mph in 4.6 seconds. The car has a driving range of over 300 km and a top speed of 200 kilometers per hour. It is quieter than an oil-fueled sports car, offering a better driving experience. Qiantu Car Co Ltd, located in Suzhou Science and Technology City, has established a production base, covering 230,000 square meters and can produce 50,000 new-energy cars every year.
