Suzhou Museum recently joined hands with Baidu, an Internet-related services provider, to improve its work by adopting the latter’s AI technology. Visitors can now get detailed information and voice explanations of exhibits immediately by picturing them with Baidu smartphone app. The app can also serve as a visiting guide which tells the exact location of each exhibit. Suzhou museum is among the country’s first batch of pilot museums for smart technologies. In recent years, the museum has applied a series of digital and information technologies to offer vivid visiting experiences.
