Nine G60 innovation valley cities seal US$5.47 billion purchase contracts

Representatives of purchasers and international suppliers from nine G60 Science and Technology Innovation Valley cities signed several sales and purchase contracts yesterday at the Buyer's Alliance inauguration ceremony held at the China International Import Expo.

The nine cities including Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Jinhua, Huzhou, Xuancheng, Wuhu and Hefei had signed purchase contracts totaling 37.994 billion yuan (US$5.47 billion) by yesterday, including 25 billion yuan invested in advanced manufacturing industry, 2.075 billion yuan in AI, 915 million yuan in biomedicine industry and 2.5 billion yuan in technological and service trade industry. 

Changshu Chery Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Co Ltd will purchase US$736.96 million worth automobile parts from Jaguar Land Rover UK including electronics and electrical components, interior decoration parts, standard parts and so on.

Altogether 705 enterprises from the nine cities have applied to join the CIIE Buyer's Alliance of G60 9-city Science and Technology Innovation Valley.
