Art walls planned at Metro Line 3 stations

Dec 26, 2018|By Tong Wangyue

Art walls will be built at all stations along Metro Line 3, with the design plans being displayed on the official website of the Suzhou Rail Transit to solicit public opinions and suggestions. The designs feature Suzhou’s natural landscapes and cultural characteristics and create an artistic atmosphere combining traditional and modern elements. For example, the wall at Suzhou Industrial Park station, named “the Speed Per Hour”, will feature an impressive image composed of colorful bands of light and pottery plates in order to express the concept of speed and space.
