Twenty-five kilometers from Suzhou, Luzhi Old Town is truly a peaceful and pristine place with beautiful water, elegant stone bridges, and precious culture relics. Luzhi has preserved 40 old bridges, reputedly the most in China.
The town’s natural beauty includes gentle waterways, venerable maidenhair trees and old dwellings. Women often wear traditional clothing.
Baosheng Temple, Xiao’s House, Shen’s House and Ye Shengtao Memorial Hall are the main scenic spots.
